How to Measure your Body
Use a soft measuring tape and stand naturally. Keep the tape firm, not tight. For the most accurate results, measure over a thin t-shirt and follow the video guides below.
Quick Tips
- Measure twice and record the best number.
- Keep the tape level to the ground for chest, waist, and hip.
- If possible, ask someone to help for shoulder and back length.
Measurement Steps (with Video Guides)
Collar
Start measuring the circumference of your neck by wrapping the tape around your neck where your collar naturally sits. The accurate way is to place one finger in between your neck and the tape to allow ease of movement.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest while keeping the tape firmly under your armpits and around your shoulder blades.
Waist
It is the measurement around the natural waist where your body creases, keeping the tape firm and horizontal to the ground.
Hip
It is the circular measurement around the fullest part of your seat.
Shoulder
Start measuring from the natural shoulder joint and run the tape across the slope meeting other shoulder point.
Sleeve Length
It is a three-point measurement, starting from the centre back neck and following along the shoulder point and down the sleeve to the crease of your wrist.
Shirt Length
Start measuring from the centre back neck following the tape down to the mid portion of the seat.
Bicep
Measure your bicep circumference around the fullest part keeping the tape firm.
Armhole
Start measuring the armhole circumference by following the tape under your armpit and around the armhole. Make sure to hold the tape firmly and not too tight.

Wrist
Measure around the wrist bone to get your cuff circumference. You can take this measurement while wearing a watch on a specific wrist to leave some room for adjustment.
