How to Measure Shirt
The measurements listed on our size charts refer to the finished garment, not body measurements. This means the dimensions shown are taken from the shirt itself after construction and include appropriate ease for comfort and movement.
Important: Please do not compare your body measurements directly to finished shirt measurements. We recommend measuring a well-fitting shirt you already own and comparing those numbers to our size chart.
How to Measure a Finished Shirt
Lay the shirt flat on a smooth surface. Button the shirt completely and smooth out any wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
Collar: Measure around the inside of the collar band from the center of the button to the center of the buttonhole.
Chest: Measure straight across the shirt at the fullest part of the chest, just below the armholes. Double this number.
Waist: Measure straight across the narrowest part of the shirt body. Double this number.
Hip / Bottom: Measure straight across the bottom hem of the shirt. Double this number.
Shoulder: Measure from one shoulder seam to the other across the back.
Sleeve Length: Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
Shirt Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.
Cuff: Measure across the cuff when laid flat, then double the number.
Finished garment measurements include built-in ease based on the selected fit (Slim, Standard, or Relaxed). Measurements may vary slightly due to fabric type and natural tolerances during production.
